The novelties will join the popular CAMON series, which already includes CAMON X and CAMON CM models, and will delight all fans of the self-portrait genre.
TECNO CAMON 11 devices are created for young people who follow the latest technological trends. Artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms built into the smartphones are capable of doing a lot of things that previously seemed to be impossible and take the next CAMON representatives to a new level of mobile gadgets. The event was graced by A-list celebrity friends of TECNO mobile, top dealers of TECNO smartphones, representatives of blue-chip media houses and government officials.

Selfie-lovers will enjoy the high-end 24 or 16-megapixel front camera, which has advanced and intelligent features based on artificial intelligence. AI-technology smartly allows you to create high-quality self-portraits with natural skin colour by optimizing the image, thereby achieving brighter colours and sharp contours.’ AI Technology Captures More Beauty of You
New AI technology advances include more accurate facial recognition capability. CAMON 11 and CAMON 11 PRO cameras are able to improve self-portraits with the help of AI Beauty by recognizing up to 240points on the face of the subject, delivering better beautification effects no matter the gender or age, and enabling self-learning capabilities based on user preferences, plus other added fun features. It also supports Face Unlock option and is equipped with its own powerful AI adjustable front LED flashlights, which allows to get beautiful and realistic photos with a certain flash level customized for you.

Taking selfies has never been better, thanks to the advanced 16 MP front camera for the CAMON 11 and 24 MP for the CAMON 11 PRO. These front cameras have the widest dynamic range due to the AI feature in HDR mode, guaranteeing perfect shots in any light. In low light conditions, the camera takes several pictures at once, combining them into one clear shot, which guarantees accurate detail processing and eliminates the problem of image blur. AI is also able to automatically recognize scenes and adapt to shooting conditions, as well as select the optimal parameters for a wide variety of shooting modes from sports to portrait.
The dual camera is designed for impressive shots to gain popularity in social networks. Night shooting mode is also based on AI-technology and provides high detail photos, even in conditions of limited lighting. 6GBRAM + 64GB ROM
Set the pace with the new CAMON 11 PRO, powered by a ground-breaking 6GB RAM and 2.0 GHz Octa-Core processor, taking your “speed” to the next level. Feel free to watch your favourite videos, download content, play games, and with the help of machine learning technology, CAMON 11 and CAMON 11 PRO are able to accelerate the game and put the phone into anti-disturb mode for users, which will bring a more immersive gaming experience.

Apple Cuts Production Orders For Three New iPhone Models

Apple Inc has cut production orders in recent weeks for all three iPhone models launched in September, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing sources.
A lower-than-expected demand for the new iPhones and Apple’s decision to offer more models have made it difficult to anticipate the number of components and handsets the company needs, according to the WSJ report here.
A lower-than-expected demand for the new iPhones and Apple’s decision to offer more models have made it difficult to anticipate the number of components and handsets the company needs, according to the WSJ report here.
Apple shocked investors a few weeks ago with a sales forecast for the Christmas quarter below Wall Street expectations, prompting certain suppliers to issue warnings that pointed to weakness in new iPhone sales.
Screen maker Japan Display Inc (6740.T) cut its full-year outlook citing weaker smartphone demand, while British chipmaker IQE Plc (IQE.L) said it expects a material reduction in its financial performance in the current year.
Lumentum Holdings Inc (LITE.O), AMS AG (AMS.S), companies which supply Apple with the software needed for its FaceID technology, also lowered their forecasts.
Another supplier Analog Devices Inc (ADI.O) is expected to report fourth-quarter results before markets open on Tuesday.
Apple shares were down 3.7 per cent at $186.38 on Monday, while Lumentum, Skyworks Solutions Inc (SWKS.O) and Qorvo Inc (QRVO.O) were down between 2.7 to 6 per cent.
Forecasts have been particularly problematic for iPhone XR with Apple cutting its production plan by up to a third of the nearly 70 million units some suppliers had been asked to produce between September and February, WSJ reported.
As recently as last week, Apple informed several suppliers that it had lowered its production plan again for iPhone XR, the Journal said.
The company started selling its latest generation of phones, the iPhone XS and XS Max, in September and the XR model in October.
Analysts at Cowen & Co expect a modest hit from iPhone production cuts on memory chipmakers like Western Digital Corp (WDC.O) and Micron Technology Inc (MU.O).
The brokerage forecast a 10 cent headwind to Micron and 15 cent headwind to Western Digital in the fourth quarter of 2018 and the first quarter of 2019 on lower iPhone builds.
Micron’s shares were down 3.4 per cent while Western Digital was down 1.7 per cent.
Apple did not respond to a request for comment.

Man suffering from constipation
The best way to stay regular is to exercise, eat a healthy, fiber-rich diet, and drink plenty of water. But if you have trouble going, certain foods can help. It’s not the only factor, but fiber -which adds to the size and water content of your stool- is key. Women should shoot for 21 to 25 grams a day, and men, 30 to 38.
Pears
This sweet fruit is packed with vitamins and antioxidants, and it has a lot of fiber and water, which can help with constipation. One pear has only about 60 calories.
Popcorn
It’s not just perfect movie food – it can be a healthy snack any time, as long as you don’t bury it in salt and butter. But you may not know it’s loaded with fiber.
Watermelon
It does not have a lot of fiber, but it is 92 per cent water, and that can encourage a bowel movement. It is also chock full of nutrients, with antioxidants that help protect your cells, as well as vitamins A, B, and C, and lycopene, which help shield you from UV rays.
Oatmeal
Have this for breakfast and you’ll be less hungry – and less likely to snack – during the day. It’s a good source of fiber, and the oats absorb lots of water, too, which helps with digestion. Bonus: It also may help lower LDL, or “bad cholesterol,” and gives you complex carbs, protein, calcium, and iron.
Almonds
You can put them on salads and desserts, eat them with yogurt and cheese, or grind them to make a tasty pie filling or pastry dough.
Potato Salad
Cooled potatoes have fiber and a lot of something called “resistant starch.” This “resists” digestion, and some of it ends up in your large intestine, where it helps good bacteria grow.
Lentils
These can make for a great side dish (try them with sausage), and they’re good in salads, too. They can even be hearty enough to have as a main course, thanks to a healthy amount of protein.

Rohr: Draw as good as a win

Super Eagles coach,  Gernot Rohr said yesterday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier 1-1 draw against South Africa was as good as a win considering the difficult situation in which the game was played.
Gernot Rohr
He also added that his team got their tactics right hence they were able to keep the South Africans at bay.
“South Africa is a very good team. We knew it will be a difficult game it was very hot, we arrived yesterday (Friday) morning without sleeping in the night and second half was very difficult,” Rohr said after the game. We started the match well. We struck the first goal and our tactics was okay they had to come against our defensive block and it was difficult for South Africa.
“We tried to score the second goal because we play to win all the time. Today we didn’t win, we did not want to take any risk because we knew a draw is just like a victory.”

The Nigerian Military says it has killed one of the leaders of the Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) – the Boko Haram factional group believed to have abducted Leah Sharibu.
A statement from the Nigerian Army (NA) on Saturday revealed that the ISWAP media chief, Ahmad Sale, was neutralised in an operation by own troops in conjunction with personnel of the Nigerian Air Force.
“Reports available reveal that one Sale Ahmad Sale a. k. a. Baban Hassan, the leader of Al-Barnawi media group, a faction of Boko Haram was killed by a joint operation conducted by the Nigerian Army and Nigerian Air Force,” it said.
The Army added, “The killing of the media leader is indicative of efforts by the NA to eliminate key members of the sect.
“It is worthy to note that the sect is directly affiliated to the Islamic State and has carried out several attacks against own troops and innocent civilians in the past.”
The Army stressed that the death of the group’s media leader has shown that the leadership of the terrorist group was being targeted successfully by the military.
It assured Nigerians that other key members of the group would soon be apprehended or killed, thus decimating the terrorists and their activities in the country.
The Army disclosed further that it has identified the new leader of another terrorist group – Jama’atu Nus’ratul-Islami Wal-Muslimina, Abul-Fadl Iyad Gali.
“The group is a new terrorist group which Ansaru is affiliated to. In the same vein, the identification of the leader of Jama’atu Nus’ratul-Islami Wal-Muslimina group would enable the NA to target the group effectively using advanced technologies in its arsenal,” it said.
According to the Army, the existence of the group portends grave danger to the nation’s security.

– Leah’s Struggle –

The Boko Haram factional group had abducted Leah and over 100 students from the Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe State in February this year.
Following efforts by the Federal Government for the girls to regain their freedom, the insurgents brought back the girls to the community in March after spending four weeks in captivity.

They, however, kept Leah back in captivity reportedly for refusing to renounce her faith.
She was the only Christian among the girls.
On August 27, online news platform TheCable published an audio clip in which Leah who has been in captivity for nine months now called on President Muhammadu Buhari to help her regain freedom.
In the clip, the 15-year-old who spoke in Hausa had also sought help for her family.
She said, “I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government, particularly, the President to pity me and get me out of this serious situation.
“I also plead to the members of the public to help my mother, my father, my younger brother and relatives. Kindly help me out of my predicament. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation. I am begging you to treat me with compassion. Thank you.”
Leah’s stay in the terrorists’ captivity has continued to generate a widespread criticism, although the government said it was making efforts to ensure her safe return.
One of the latest came from the leadership of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) which asked President Buhari to order the security agencies to secure Leah’s release and other innocent Nigerians still held by the insurgents.

Pogba sparks transfer rumour after partying with Messi

Lionel Messi and Paul Pogba might not be involved for France and Argentina during the international break but they did have time for a deep conversation while having dinner in Dubai.
Not available for their respective nations during the two-week break in their domestic campaigns, both have travelled to the United Arab Emirates for a short holiday.

Pogba missed Manchester United’s last game at Manchester City due to a thigh problem, while Messi has only played once for Barcelona since breaking his arm in mid-October .
The pair bumped into each other while at Salt Bae’s Turkish steak house and engaged in a lengthy discussion regarding a number of topics.
Reportedly, among them was Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante, who Pogba claimed marked Messi out of their World Cup round of 16 clash in the summer.
Agent Mino Raiola made no secret of his desire to move his client away from Old Trafford after he was criticised by manager Jose Mourinho.
Defender Gerard Pique said he would welcome the arrival of the 25-year-old if he did indeed complete a move to the La Liga champions.
“We would be happy to have him here,” Pique said in August.
“I know little about what he is going through in Manchester and the relationship that exists [between Mourinho and Pogba].
“Pogba is a very good player, but a Manchester United player right now and we’ll see if something happens in the future.”
