Second Championship club come forward with 'good offer' for John Terry

John Terry to Birmingham City: Harry Redknapp confirms ‘good offer’ for former Chelsea and England captain

John Terry is now a free agent after arriving at Chelsea as a youngster in 1998

John Terry was earlier set to join Bournemouth on £100k-a-week deal, but that could be scuppered

HARRY REDKNAPP has confirmed he has made a “good offer” for former Chelsea captain John Terry in what would be the most sensational move of the summer.
But reports in Italy this morning have already claimed the bizarre transfer has already been done after talks with the Aston Villa target.

Terry has been tight-lipped on whether he will carry on playing at all, with rumours of a coaching career despite interest from Premier League sides West Brom and Bournemouth.
But Redknapp who is bidding to transform the fortunes of Birmingham after years of Championship stagnation with cash to burn from their Hong Kong owners, said: “I’d love to have him at the football club.

“We’ve made him a good offer and we have done the best we can. It’s up to John now, but we would love him at Birmingham.
